About
Introduction
This website is a result of a series of videos I made and uploaded to YouTube.
The first set of videos looked at the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 16, Verses 1-3.
I have made an introductory post for each of the qualities.
You will find the list of those posts on the page: The Godly Qualities.
Note also at the top of each post is a link to the video for the quality presented.
As is often the case in a new endeavor, it took a while to get the bugs out both technically
and stylistically. Hang in there.
The videos and my presenting style got better over time.
Well at least I think so. Your mileage may vary.
Now you will note that this website is not called The Godly Qualities. That is because it has long been at the back of my mind to write about the heart of each of us. Producing the videos sharpened that desire and gave me the extra energy needed to turn that desire into a reality. The result is this website. The title is also taken from the Bhagavad Gita — in this case Chapter 10, Verse 20 wherein Krishna says:
“I am the Self, O Gudakesa, seated in the heart of all beings;
I am the beginning and the middle, and also the end, of all beings.”
I am the beginning and the middle, and also the end, of all beings.”
This pointing to our inner being is by no means limited to Hinduism. It is my hope that will become obvious as you read through theses pages and view the videos.
This Website = Content (minus) Ads (minus) Cookies
You will not need an ad-blocker on this website as there are none. Neither do any of the YouTube videos contain ads (Warning: YouTube may insert ads anyway, even though I do not want them). While I know that is how many earn either extra or their main income, I am in the fortunate position of not needing an ad based website. Even if I were, I would look at alternative methods of obtaining funding. This is because I despise the intrusiveness of ads and have plenty to say about them. To paraphrase Alton Brown on Good Eats “… but that’s another website.”
Likewise, even though I may put up a cookie notice, I do not care to collect, even anonymously, information on those who happen by. Consider this site a safe haven.
Some Comments About Comments (or lack thereof)
If Shakespeare were alive today his most famous quote might be “To comment, or not to comment? That is the question.” Not as pithy as “To be or not to be”, but hey, it’s 2026 and in 2025 any website owner has to make a decision on allowing comments. Yes I am aware of anti spam plugins and comment scrubbers, but honestly, even with all that, the hoards of the weak minded will find a way to spam it up.
If you have watched any of the videos you will have already picked up that my definition of weak is a bit different than that of the average person in the street. If you haven’t, here is a quick summary. A person in a human body is weak minded if they are able to be carried away – with ease – by evil or demonic forces. The outcome of which are such actions as the killing of elementary school children, the beating and killing one’s girlfriend or wife or even of your own children. Watch the evening news for more examples.
As for those of strong mind, well, this entire website is a peek at some of the qualities within, and actions exhibited by, those of a strong and steady mind that is backed by a pure and compassionate heart.
So, there you have it. Sans comments for now.
What about some plain vanilla blogging?
I will need to add another section or another series to this website for plain old, regular blog posts. After all, even the most sublime, holy and angelic scripture, sayings and stories need to be brought down from the mountain. How that will manifest on this website is yet to be decided.
What about some technical information?
Sure. How about these items.
